In this episode of our debate show, we look at Kuala Lumpur’s latest traffic initiative: Bangun KL. Rolled out by Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh, the initiative aims to ease the city’s notorious morning gridlock by encouraging commuters to start their journeys before the 8–9am peak. To make that shift more appealing, the ministry partnered with Zus Coffee, offering RM5 drinks between 7 and 8am at outlets across KL and Putrajaya. Our debaters, Rafiq and Cheng, debate both sides of this. In the final half of the episode, our judge delivers a verdict and declares a winner.
