As the Middle East conflict disrupts oil supplies, countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines have turned to remote work and shorter weeks to cut fuel demand. Malaysia is weighing a similar Work-From-Home policy after Hari Raya, aiming to keep subsidized fuel at RM1.99 per litre, though employers warn it may not suit sectors like manufacturing and logistics. Malaysians also see working from home as a way to ease rising living costs, so we ask our listeners: Would you prefer working from home if given the choice? Should everyone be allowed to work from home?
