The stabbing at a school in Banting has left a lot of parents and educators asking the same question: How are our children really doing in schools? It is not an isolated case, as Malaysians are still processing an earlier stabbing from a few months ago at a school in Bandar Utama. Questions about student welfare have dominated conversation in the weeks since. Tonight, we speak to Felicia Yoon, co-founder of Arus Academy, and clinical psychologist Prakash Ravindran about how we can support children’s mental wellbeing and what schools, parents and communities can do to help.
