The lack of public hospitals in Petaling Jaya has been a long-standing issue, and was recently reignited after Selangor MB Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who in a response to an X post, said the reason for this is because the state government cannot find land that's big or affordable enough. This comment has not been received well by the public. We speak to Bukit Gasing assemblyman, Rajiv Rishyakaran, who has long been championing for there to be a public hospital in PJ.
